There are moments that split your life in two.
Before.
And after.
For me, that moment was September 28, 2017, when Sadie Pearl came into the world.
She didn’t just arrive.
She rewrote everything.
She made me a father.
And in doing so, she gave me a new mission—one I didn’t even know I was built for yet.
Becoming “Dad”
You hear people talk about how becoming a parent changes you.
But there’s no way to prepare for how it hits you in real time.
The first time I held Sadie, I felt something in me shift.
Like a compass locking into true north.
It wasn’t about being perfect.
It wasn’t about having all the answers.
It was about being present.
Being willing.
Being hers.
There’s a kind of clarity that only comes when you realize someone else is looking to you for safety, direction, and love—without ever needing to say a word.
That’s what Sadie gave me.
Not just the title of “Dad,” but the calling behind it.
The Why Behind Plouton
My kids are the reason Plouton Life exists.
When I talk about building legacy, creating WELLth, and protecting what matters—I’m not speaking from theory.
I’m speaking from fatherhood.
From lived experience.
From the fire that lit up in me when I realized:
I want to protect their future.
I want to model what it looks like to live in alignment.
I want to leave something better behind—not just money, but wisdom, clarity, and tools they can use for a lifetime.
That’s what true wealth means to me.
That’s why Plouton isn’t just a company.
It’s a love letter to my children and yours.
What Sadie Has Taught Me
People talk about parenting like we’re the ones doing the teaching.
But Sadie’s taught me more than I could have imagined.
She’s taught me how to slow down.
To laugh in the middle of chaos.
To be silly and serious in the same breath.
To feel the moment instead of rushing to the next.
She’s asked questions that reminded me how much I still have to grow.
She’s called me out when I wasn’t fully present.
She’s challenged me to live the values I preach—because kids don’t follow your advice, they follow your example.
And when I feel tired, doubtful, or out of alignment, she’s often the reason I come back to center.
Not because she needs me to be perfect.
But because she deserves my best.
Legacy Isn’t a Theory—It’s a Daughter
When we talk about legacy at Plouton, we don’t mean something vague or abstract.
We mean Sadie.
We mean Cy.
We mean your kids, your family, your people.
Legacy is the feeling your children carry when they think about you.
It’s the values they inherit by watching you move through the world.
It’s the safety net you build so they can take brave steps forward without fear.
It’s not just about what we leave behind when we’re gone—
It’s about how we show up while we’re still here.
Sadie made me realize that.
Happy Birthday, Sadie Pearl
This month, you turn another year older.
You’re strong, brilliant, creative, funny, kind, and already have more heart than most adults I know.
You made me a dad.
You made me better.
And you are, without a doubt, the heartbeat behind this mission.
So here’s to your birthday.
Here’s to the love that started a movement.
Here’s to the ripple you created—
One I’ll spend the rest of my life honoring, protecting, and building from.
